Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by greeting patients, visitors, and staff at the front desk, managing access procedures, and following site-specific security-related policies for a healthcare location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized access through professional presence and attention to detail.
  • Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Support front desk operations by answering questions, giving directions, documenting visitor activity, and reporting unusual or suspicious behavior according to post instructions.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and other documentation related to daily activity, incidents, and/or security-related observations at the location.
