Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access activities, monitor the lobby, and support security-related operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a front desk location within an aerospace and defense environment.
  • Monitor visitor access, review identification and/or credentials, maintain front desk logs, and communicate entry procedures in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate site contacts when needed.
  • Answer phones, assist employees, visitors, and contractors with directions and/or general questions, and support security-related communications for the location.
  • Observe lobby and reception activity, report suspicious behavior and/or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent front desk presence and attention to detail.
