As a Security Officer Front Desk in Kearney, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a healthcare location, you will remain at a central station, greet visitors, manage access, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. You will help monitor activity, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and documenting arrivals and departures according to site protocols.
  • Answer phones, support front desk communications, and direct employees, patients, visitors, and vendors to the appropriate contacts or areas while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or hazards to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
