As a Security Officer Front Desk in Charleston, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location, you will provide a welcoming presence, manage access control and visitor procedures, monitor security-related systems, and respond to alarms or concerns. Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Serve as a professional front-desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying identification and appointment information, and directing individuals according to site access protocols.
  • Monitor visitor access, maintain accurate visitor logs, issue and collect access credentials as directed, and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
  • Observe activity in the lobby and entry areas, help to deter unauthorized access, and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
