In this welcoming, stationary role, you will support access and badge activities, monitor for security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Monitor facility access from the reception area by greeting visitors, confirming identification and/or visitor information, and following site protocols for entry and sign-in.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Support a professional front desk environment by answering general questions, documenting security-related events, and communicating with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
