About The Position

As a Security Officer Front Desk in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a front desk location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or credentials, and document guest arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions, and support badge issuance, visitor registration, and other front desk administrative tasks related to security-related operations.
  • Observe entry points and common areas from the reception post and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to help to deter unauthorized access.
