About The Position

As a Security Officer Front Desk Driver in Grand Island, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within an educational location.
  • Monitor visitor, student, staff, and vendor access at the reception area, verify credentials as required, and direct guests according to location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions by maintaining an attentive presence at the front desk and documenting security-related events, reports, and visitor activity.
  • Support daily front desk operations by answering phones, assisting with directions, and handling routine administrative and/or security-related tasks based on location needs.
