Join Allied Universal at a dynamic logistics and distribution location as a Front Desk officer, where you will greet visitors, manage access, support badge and visitor processes, and provide clear communication and customer service. In this visible role, you will help support security-related operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative environment.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by checking identification, verifying appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate contact or area.
  • Answer phones, support sign-in and sign-out processes, maintain accurate front desk records, and communicate relevant activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols and reporting procedures.
  • Support a professional lobby and reception presence at a busy logistics and distribution location while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions.
