Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk responsibilities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access to the lobby and entry points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access through established security-related procedures.
• Answer phones, greet incoming guests, issue visitor badges or passes, maintain front desk logs, and direct individuals according to site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Support daily operations by documenting activity, reporting unusual conditions, and following emergency response activities and other client-directed security-related protocols.
