As a Security Officer Front Desk Associate in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and telecom location as a Front Desk officer, serving as a welcoming first point of contact while supporting access control, visitor management, and other security-related duties. In this highly visible role, you will help to deter incidents through professionalism, strong communication, and attentive service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid experience or certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a technology and communications location.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or sign-in activity, and documenting arrivals, departures, and deliveries.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Support security-related operations by observing lobby activity, reporting unusual behavior or conditions, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Answer phones, provide directions, and complete required logs, reports, and/or other administrative tasks related to front desk and security-related responsibilities.
