As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to concerns with a customer-service mindset. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to onsite employees, contractors, truck drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards such as spills, blocked egress routes, or unsecured doors.
• Control access at gates and entrances by checking identification, verifying deliveries and pickups, and directing traffic flow for passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, initiating notifications, and documenting actions taken.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, including observations from patrols, access activity, and any policy violations reported to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
