As a Security Officer Patrol in Washington, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage processing location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production-adjacent areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity for staff, contractors, and/or deliveries, verify access permissions when required, and report policy violations, hazards, and maintenance issues to the appropriate site representative.
  • Support access control, visitor management, and incident reporting functions while maintaining awareness of operational activity in an industrial processing environment.
