As a Security Officer Foot Patrol in Fort Myers, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic retail location where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help manage access for team members, visitors, and vendors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or designated access points to help support authorized entry, verify credentials as required, and report unusual activity or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
• Assist with crowd flow, directional support, and visitor inquiries during busy shopping periods, special events, and/or deliveries while maintaining awareness of access restrictions and site procedures.
