Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and security-related protocols for a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property contacts and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, observe for unauthorized access, and report maintenance concerns, property damage, and/or suspicious behavior through proper documentation channels.
• Complete routine reports and activity logs, provide clear updates during shift changes, and support Allied Universal directives and client site expectations throughout the assigned location.
