As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Des Moines, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, offices, parking areas, ATM and/or banking access points, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas, verifying access permissions and reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
  • Support closing and opening routines, watch for after-hours activity, and provide visible presence across the location while following unarmed post orders and established procedures.
