Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity on the property, documenting incidents, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns according to post instructions.
• Support daily operations by following assigned post orders, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with routine security-related checks across the location.
