Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter areas, while observing and reporting unusual activity.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, loitering, and/or disruptions by maintaining a visible presence and documenting security-related concerns.
Support hospital and clinic operations by assisting with directions, de-escalation, and incident reporting, and by communicating relevant information to supervisors and/or designated personnel.
