As a Security Officer Field Patrol in Tuscaloosa, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter areas, while observing and reporting unusual activity.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, loitering, and/or disruptions by maintaining a visible presence and documenting security-related concerns.
  • Support hospital and clinic operations by assisting with directions, de-escalation, and incident reporting, and by communicating relevant information to supervisors and/or designated personnel.
