As a Security Officer Field Patrol in Dalton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify potential concerns, and document security-related observations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report irregularities in accordance with post instructions.
• Support day-to-day operations by preparing routine reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and assisting with security-related requests from authorized personnel.
