As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol Driver in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Security Officer, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols throughout a dynamic property, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to guests and team members. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and event attendees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access to assigned areas, verify authorized entry as directed, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting emergency services when directed.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
