As a Security Officer - Experience Required in Superior, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, administrative spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support traffic and pedestrian flow in accordance with location policies.
  • Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or public responders as needed during routine operations or critical situations, while maintaining detailed and accurate activity records.
