About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Earth City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support a smooth flow of people and activity. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain visitor logs, screen deliveries and/or contractors as directed, and support orderly access for employees, guests, and authorized vehicles.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related issues.
