About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer Entry Screening Driver in Baldwinsville, New York, you will help safeguard a food and beverage production location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, screen deliveries and shipments, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. The role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide customer service and clear communication while supporting a team that values integrity, care, agility, reliability, and innovation. The listed schedule is 11:00 PM–7:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The pay rate is $18.11 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out access-control procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
Screen incoming deliveries and outbound shipments according to site procedures, directing authorized drivers and vendors to appropriate locations.
Respond calmly to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
