Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, maintain visitor and driver entry records, and communicate access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and follow site reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry gates, trailer yards, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Support the orderly movement of authorized vehicles and personnel by following site-specific access procedures and coordinating with operations personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
