About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Entry Screener in Bowling Green, Florida. The role provides a dependable weekly assigned shift at a designated site, with a required six-month commitment to that fixed shift. In addition to the anchor shift, officers may claim available shifts through the company scheduling platform and can work additional hours across multiple sites. The position is intended for part-time employment, with the option to build toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week and scale back as needed. The listed pay rate is $21.75 per hour. The scheduled shift is Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The officer provides customer service while following security procedures and site-specific policies, responds calmly to incidents and critical situations, and conducts regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
