Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication, teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with access control protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security-related procedures.
• Assist with screening visitors, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and maintaining clear communication with staff regarding restricted areas, escorts, and other access-related requirements.
