Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, visitor logs, and/or shipment-related documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
• Support front gate, reception, and/or checkpoint operations by screening incoming and outgoing traffic, maintaining required records, and reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, yard, dock areas, parking locations, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
