Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an automotive location.
  • Monitor access control points by checking credentials, logging visitors, contractors, and deliveries, and directing authorized persons to the appropriate entrance or department.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter access points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Help to deter unauthorized entry by monitoring vehicle and pedestrian traffic, observing access gates and badge activity, and communicating security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
