Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, and following site-specific access procedures at the front desk of a healthcare location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, help to deter unauthorized access, and report unusual, suspicious, and/or concerning activity to the appropriate contact.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs, badge records, and other required documentation related to front desk operations and security-related activities.
  • Support site personnel, patients, visitors, and vendors by answering questions, providing directions, and communicating relevant policies and procedures in a professional manner.
