About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Control Security Clearance in Palm Bay, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that works together and acts with integrity.

Requirements

Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Monitor and control access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, processing visitors, maintaining entry records, and following established access-control procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, facility entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and support access-control requirements.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to access activity, incidents, visitor management, and security-related observations.
