As a Security Officer Access Control Security Clearance in Roy, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service. You will communicate clearly with personnel and visitors while supporting security-related operations. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and authorized contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and interactions accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
