Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and an agile, reliable, innovative approach, you will play an important part in daily site operations.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification, and security-related policies at the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points for personnel, deliveries, and vehicles, helping to deter unauthorized access while maintaining accurate visitor and shipment-related logs.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Support daily operations by observing activity at gates, screening access requests, and reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate site contact.
