About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Vehicle Patrol in Bryant, Arkansas. The role provides reliable hours at an assigned retail site on a designated weekly shift, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The assigned shift requires a six-month commitment. Employees may work part-time hours or pick up additional hours, with opportunities to build toward a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and the option to scale back. The position pays $15.75 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Thursday, 11:30 AM–11:30 PM. The officer provides customer service, performs security procedures and patrols, responds to incidents, monitors for hazards and unauthorized access, and assists with access control and traffic flow. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet age requirements. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions; background investigation and drug screening are conditions of employment, subject to applicable laws.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to store associates, shoppers, and visitors by following security procedures and location-specific policies, and taking part in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and unauthorized access, and report concerns to store leadership and/or emergency responders.
Assist with access control, visitor awareness, and traffic flow during routine operations, special events, and high-volume shopping periods.
