Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas, verify access permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support the protection of property, assets, and confidential business areas by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing required reports and activity logs.
