As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Mount Pocono, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and adherence to location policies and procedures.
• Assist with incident reporting, daily activity logs, and/or other required documentation related to security-related events, policy concerns, and operational needs.
