This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and Allied Universal standards for a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading zones, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic public areas, document unusual activity, and report maintenance, life emergency, and/or security-related issues through the appropriate channels.
• Support daily operations at the location by assisting with visitor inquiries, observing for policy violations, and completing detailed activity and incident reports.
