As a Security Officer Patrol Presence in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to document and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entry points, lobbies, offices, and perimeter to help to identify security-related concerns and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry of employees, visitors, and/or contractors while following established post orders and visitor management practices.
• Support a professional environment by communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed and helping to address customer concerns related to security-related matters.
