About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Mobile Unarmed for an assigned logistics and distribution site in Independence, Kentucky. The role provides a designated weekly anchor shift with a six-month commitment. Employees may also claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, allowing hours to vary and potentially build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The listed pay rate is $18.22 per hour, and the posted schedule is Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

The officer provides customer service and performs site-specific security procedures, including unarmed patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and documentation. The position may involve responding to emergencies as directed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at a logistics and distribution location.
• Carry out site-specific security procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of people and vehicles entering and leaving the facility in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and other security-related activities in required reports.
