Security Officer (EMT) - Full-Time / Nights

About The Position
Joining our Security team, your role will be responsible for ensuring we provide the highest level of safety and security for our residents, guests, and staff. You will do this by monitoring and patrolling our property, escorting/assisting residents and guests as needed, and more! You will be a first responder to all emergency medical situations. Using your EMT skills, you will triage the situation and perform necessary CPR and/or First Aid. In addition to protecting the assets of our community (patrol), you will handle minor emergency maintenance.
Requirements
- AZ EMT CERTIFICATE Licensed in Arizona
- Ability to obtain an Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- High school Diploma or GED
- One year security experience
- Valid driver license with satisfactory driving record
- CPR, BLS, First Aid certification prior to start date
- Arizona DPS unarmed guard certification
- Ability to effectively and calmly communicate orally and in writing in English
- Ability to make rational decisions in critical situations
- Ability to walk inside and outside of the Sagewood campus and stand and/or climb stairs approximately 75% of each shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds
- Ability to transport residents via wheelchair or other devices for up to 250 pounds
- Manual coordination to operate telephones, radio, computer, and other business equipment
- Normal vision and hearing required
- Compliance with LCE COVID-19 Vaccination Policy is required
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and patrolling the property
- Escorting/assisting residents and guests
- Acting as a first responder to all emergency medical situations
- Triaging medical situations and performing CPR and/or First Aid
- Handling minor emergency maintenance
