Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential community location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support residents, guests, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • An EMT certification is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and when appropriate, responding to emergency and other security-related situations.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas as assigned.
  • Observe and report suspicious, hazardous, and/or unauthorized activity to the appropriate contacts in accordance with site procedures.
  • Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and routine reporting to help support site operations and help to deter unwanted activity.
