As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, checking credentials and directing foot traffic and/or vehicle traffic in accordance with post orders and location requirements.
  • Support public-facing operations by assisting with information requests, observing for policy violations, and communicating with supervisors and/or local authorities when needed.
