About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol TWIC in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support site operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A TSA issued TWIC is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or potential hazards at the location.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations as required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel regarding incidents, maintenance issues, and other security-related matters that may affect daily operations.
