Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic transportation location, where you will patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a transportation setting.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, local authorities, and/or designated personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, operational spaces, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and observe the movement of people, vehicles, and/or property to help support authorized access and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or security-related concerns.
  • Document incidents, daily activities, and/or irregular conditions in required reports, and assist with follow-up actions in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location procedures.
