As a Security Officer Driving Patrol in Naperville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine driving patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, assist guests and staff with exceptional customer service and communication, and bring our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values to every shift.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities throughout the hotel or resort location.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, hallways, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe property activity, and document security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Support a welcoming environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and reporting suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, and/or disturbances to the appropriate personnel.
