As a Security Officer Driving Patrol in Terre Haute, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, with responsibilities that may include vehicle patrols throughout the property. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Have supervisory experience.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations throughout the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to management and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and assist with crowd flow, lost persons, and other retail location concerns in accordance with post orders and client guidelines.
