Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help discourage incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related screening, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns involving property, equipment, and restricted areas.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated points to help support authorized access, observe visitor movement, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
  • Assist with security-related reports, shift activity logs, and pass-down communication, while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific protocols.
