About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Position in Gresham, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, vendors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and directing people to the appropriate entry points, departments, and/or service areas.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or reception areas to help manage authorized access, verify credentials, log arrivals and departures, and report unusual or unauthorized activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting the appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including showrooms, offices, service areas, parking lots, and perimeter access points, as conditions vary by site.
  • Support daily security-related operations by documenting incidents, maintaining required logs, communicating with site contacts, and helping to deter disruptions, theft, and/or trespassing.
