About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Position in Gresham, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, vendors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and directing people to the appropriate entry points, departments, and/or service areas.
Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or reception areas to help manage authorized access, verify credentials, log arrivals and departures, and report unusual or unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting the appropriate personnel when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including showrooms, offices, service areas, parking lots, and perimeter access points, as conditions vary by site.
Support daily security-related operations by documenting incidents, maintaining required logs, communicating with site contacts, and helping to deter disruptions, theft, and/or trespassing.
