This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will remain visible, perform routine patrols, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and bring a reliable, caring, innovative, and integrity-driven approach to daily security-related responsibilities.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and other security-related policies at a chemical manufacturing location.
  • Monitor and document entry and exit activity, check identification and/or credentials, manage visitor registration, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support site personnel during emergency response activities as directed by location protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, gates, buildings, and perimeter areas, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and communication regarding deliveries, contractors, personnel movement, and other access control activity in accordance with site procedures.
