As a Security Officer - Driver in Augusta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed residential patrol officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. In this community location, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work as part of a team, and act with integrity while delivering responsive service.

Requirements

Supervisory experience is required.
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including streets, common areas, amenities, and perimeter access points, as assigned.
Monitor entry and exit activity within the location and help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disturbances through visible presence and attentive observation.
Assist with access control, parking-related issues, and community rule reminders while maintaining professional communication with residents, guests, and/or property representatives.
