As a Security Officer - Driver in Augusta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed residential patrol officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. In this community location, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work as part of a team, and act with integrity while delivering responsive service.

Requirements

  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including streets, common areas, amenities, and perimeter access points, as assigned.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity within the location and help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disturbances through visible presence and attentive observation.
  • Assist with access control, parking-related issues, and community rule reminders while maintaining professional communication with residents, guests, and/or property representatives.
