Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific policies, managing visitor access, and supporting security-related procedures for a healthcare location.
  • Monitor entry activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to direct patients, guests, and staff in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Document daily activities, visitor logs, and incident details accurately, and communicate important information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Support emergency response activities from the front desk, help to address questions and concerns, and maintain awareness of security-related issues within the lobby and reception area.
