As a Security Officer Front Desk Driver in Woonsocket, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. You will remain a visible, professional presence that helps to deter incidents while assisting staff, patients, and guests. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor management tasks, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas, greet visitors, verify identification and/or appointments, and direct patients, guests, and staff according to location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity through proper channels.
  • Answer phones, support access control processes, maintain required logs and documentation, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and first responders when needed.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk and following post orders for a healthcare location.
